Our highest quality fireback! 15.5" Tall, 26" Wide, 1" Thick. Works with any Wall of Fire Grate. Note: This product is very heavy. You will need the assistance of a helper to place this fireback in your fireplace to avoid back strain. Weighs about 113 pounds in the box.

Appallingly Expensive, but Worth the Price

I thought I was crazy for paying nearly $500 for a slab of metal, but I’m glad I did. The thin steel reflector I previously used as a fireback twisted and deformed when subjected to the heat produced by a Grate Wall of Fire, but that will never happen with this fireback. It’s thick enough to protect my fireplace’s rear wall from costly heat damage, and it absorbs and reflects a significant amount of heat, which it slowly radiates into a room over an extended period of time. I used the fireback for the first time yesterday when hosting guests for Thanksgiving 2018, and I was pleased to see them sitting comfortably in my vaulted living room, which is usually chilly.

Heavy Duty!

Well worth the money to upgrade to the 1" thick reflector. When this gets hot it really throws the heat out into the room.

Unbelievable!!!! All these years of that “puff back” of smoke and the first time using the grate with the fireback and not a WHIFF of smoke. Truly remarkable. How I wish I had found this 30 years ago. The design makes for a much easier starting fire and so much less mess. I am writing this review as I sit 4 feet away to the side of the fireplace and the warmth is just radiating in to the room. Can I give it 10 stars?

Bought this 100lb monster on the recommendations of the mason who built my outdoor fireplace. It's big. It's heavy. It's a beast. We've had about 15 fires to date outside, and what I have found is that this thing takes a while to heat up, but once it's there, it radiates heat continually for a LONG time. Yesterday's fire went till about 10PM, and as of this morning at 10PM the fire died down but the Fireback was still too hot to touch. Feel like it helps push the heat out front, and not up. Big fan so far. Just make sure you bring a friend to help install it.

Fantastic results. We purchased both the grate and reflective wall. The heat pours out of the fireplace and heats the room fully. I question whether we would have the same result with just the grate though. I don’t recall how we discovered this Grate Wall of Fire but I am glad we did. The 30 day money back guarantee sold us on it. After three days we burned the box it came in knowing we would never return it. Great products,

Heat Saver

The one inch Fireback works to keep the heat in the room not up the chimney and it works well. The heat you can feel it ten to twenty feet from the fireplace within thirty minutes or so. Thank You.
