I use this with the S-3 11” wide fireplace grate, but I only had a chance to use it once and the weather warmed up! I didn’t really notice a difference in heat output, which was one of the reasons I purchased it, the other was just to use it with the grate and protect the back wall of my fireplace. The quality of this product is excellent, it’s a solid piece of work. I can see that it will last many years.
