My old grate would allow smoke to come into the room unless I kept the wood way back against the wall.This grate does that for me and the fire is literally ‘self-feeding’, so no more playing ‘fire master’ sitting next to the fire with the poker in hand constantly touching it up. Once you light it, you can sit back until it needs more wood.

Does everything promised

Recently had our entire fire box rebuilt and the contractor recommended Great Wall of Fire as the best out there. Bought this model and have had two fires so far with it. Both went all night long and heated our fairly sizable den very well. Also, no smoke in the room at all. Very happy with the purchase!

Nothing Else come close

Absolutely nothing else like it. I have had one in every fireplace I have owned since my first one and I wont use anything else. You can enjoy a fire again with out the constant fiddling, and the heat is amazing. So much more heat than a regular fireplace grate, and the fire is always perfect. Thank you for an amazing product!
